Pool- What's going on??

I like to play omgpop pool through IMVU. On and off all day today I been playing and winning games and not getting any points added to my rating but sure enough if I lose a game, I lose the points from my rating. What is going on?? This is not very fair. Also unfair is the whole rating system, sometimes I lose over 20-25 points for a loss but if I win im lucky to gain 4 or 5, which means I have to win about 4 games at least to make back the points I lost for one game... I think the rating system needs to be improved to make it more far to everyone...
